Gluten Free Turkey Mac
Gluten Free Turkey Mac is my toddler’s lunchtime favorite! He asks for it almost every day!
He loves it when Mama makes him his favorite; even if it’s in a hurry with Amy’s Gluten Free Dairy Free Mac N Cheese and Ground Turkey.
When we are on a road trip this is an easy meal that makes everyone happy! Who doesn’t love mac n cheese with some ground turkey?
Serve with steamed broccoli or mix in it for an added twist!

Can use Amy's Gluten Free, Dairy Free Mac N Cheese (frozen) if in a hurry! Prepare as directed and add 1/2 cup browned ground turkey. Kids favorite!

Ingredients
- 1 box gluten free elbow noodles
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons gluten free all purpose seasoning
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 1⁄4 cup gluten free all purpose flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded mexican blend cheese
Instructions
- In large skillet; add ground turkey and all purpose seasoning. Drain ground turkey and set aside.
- Cook macaroni according to package directions.
- In medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; stir in gluten free flour, and cook for 3-5 minutes to form a roux; add pepper; slowly add milk, stirring well after each addition.
- Cook and stir until bubbly.
- Stir in cheese a small amount at a time until fully melted.
- Drain macaroni; add macaroni and ground turkey to cheese sauce.
- Stir to mix and coat noodles thoroughly.
- Serve warm.
