Scoop A Bug Sorting Kit
Ayden loves catching bugs with this Scoop A Bug Sorting Kit! The bumble bees, ants, lady bugs and grasshoppers are fun to count, sort and scoop up to put in their containers with a magnifying lid.
When playing with these bugs; we sort and count how many of each bug we scooped up, choose a bug and number to be scooped up, examine the bugs with the magnifying lids, create patterns of bugs in a line, and more! Ayden likes making patterns of bugs like he uses ice cream with the Squeeze, Scoop and Count Ice Cream Shop.
This is a newer activity for us; Ayden received it for Christmas! In the Spring and Summer when the bugs are more readily available outside we will probably go bug hunting to match the real bugs with the bugs in our containers!
