Whole 30 Day 3 (Flu Like)
Welcome to my Whole 30 Day 3 (The “Flu Like” Day)! Every morning when I wake up the first thing I do is get out my Whole 30 Day to Day Journal. I read the tips and notes from Melissa Hartwig to inspire me for the day and then I write everything down I eat for the day to look back and reflect once my 30 days are successfully completed!
I start each day with a 2 tsp shot of Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar followed by 8-10 oz of water; to help with the cleanse and gut healing part of this journey.
Here’s a quick summary of Day 3:
Breakfast: Apple Cider Vinegar, Egg White Ham Mushroom & Green Onion Scramble, Water
Morning Snack: Handful of Almonds, Water
Lunch: Chicken Breast, Half Tomato Sliced, Water
Afternoon Snack: Strawberries, Ground Turkey, Water
Dinner: Ground Turkey Taco Salad, Olives, Avocado, Water
Evening Snack/Dessert: Olives, Water
Notes: Today I experienced changes in the skin on my hands; red rough patches. There was also some discomfort like muscle cramps in my back and sides. Because I drank plenty of water throughout the day I shouldn’t be having these issues. I will be chatting with my doctor to make sure everything is okay.
Day 3 was a success! Woo hoo! I didn’t have any of the flu like symptoms that many people experience as they detox. So thankful for this; as I know my daughter felt terrible due to the detoxification and sugar withdrawals.
