Whole 30 Day 4 (Still Possibly Flu Like)
Welcome to my Whole 30 Day 4 (Still Possibly “Flu Like” Day)! Every morning when I wake up the first thing I do is get out my Whole 30 Day to Day Journal. I read the tips and notes from Melissa Hartwig to inspire me for the day. It’s important to write everything down I eat for the day to be able to look back and reflect after 30 days are successfully completed!
I start each day with a 2 tsp shot of Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar followed by 8-10 oz of water; to help with the cleanse and gut healing part of this journey.
Here’s a quick summary of Day 4:
Breakfast: Apple Cider Vinegar, Turkey Skillet, Blueberries, Strawberries, Water
Morning Snack: Aidells Chicken Apple Sausage, Half Cara Cara Orange, Water
Lunch: Lemon Chicken, Mushrooms, Chives, Green Beans, Water
Afternoon Snack: Handful of Cashews, Cara Cara Orange, Water
Dinner: Steak, Roasted White Potatoes, Sauted Mushrooms with Coconut Aminos, Water
Evening Snack/Dessert: Half of Cara Cara Orange, Water
Notes: Today the skin on my hands was more red and rough. I had a dull headache most of the day. The discomfort like muscle cramps in my back and sides subsided. I was tired today! Need to make sure I get more sleep at night. With an almost 4 year old; sleep isn’t a luxury I always get and need at night!
Day 4 was a success! Hurray! The day went great; however, I did have the headache part of the flu like symptoms that many people experience as they detox. My daughter also has a headache today; therefore also feeling sick. Now let’s get going on day 5!
