Gluten Free Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes
Gluten Free Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes are a perfect side dish with ham, chicken or turkey during the holidays.
This recipe is a family favorite in my house and almost always served with Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. It pairs nicely with the bacon green bean casserole and ham.
As a child; I loved it when my mom made scalloped potatoes for Thanksgiving. These potatoes remind me of the delicious potatoes my mom made.
When I make this dish; it almost always turns out a little different based on how “cheesy” I am feeling! If I am really in the mood for extra cheesy potatoes; then I add more cheese. If I am feeling like I need to be a little healthier; I modify the recipe and use less cheese and/or more potatoes.
I also vary the amount of onion I put in the recipe from time to time. If I am feeling like more; I add more! And sometimes top with diced green onion if I want them to look pretty! You can play with the recipe and see what you like or don’t like. I almost always modify a recipe based on what I know my family will like!
This recipe is rich and creamy and makes everyone ask for a second helping if they have room left!
Here is the recipe for these cheesy potatoes; I hope your family enjoys them like mine does:
