Whole 30 Day 5
Welcome to my Whole 30 Day 5! Every morning when I wake up the first thing I do is get out my Whole 30 Day to Day Journal. I read the tips and notes from Melissa Hartwig to inspire me for the day. It’s important to write everything down I eat for the day to be able to look back and reflect after 30 days are successfully completed!
I start each day with a 2 tsp shot of Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar followed by 8-10 oz of water; to help with the cleanse and gut healing part of this journey.
Here’s a quick summary of Day 5:
Breakfast: Apple Cider Vinegar, Chicken White Potato & Mushroom Skillet, Cara Cara Orange, Water
Morning Snack: Handful of Cashews, Water
Lunch: Red Robin Avo-Cabo Salad (without bleu cheese and bacon), Balsamic Vinegar, Water
Afternoon Snack: CHOMPS Beef Stick, Water
Dinner: Cauliflower Turkey Stir Fry with Coconut Aminos, Water
Evening Snack/Dessert: Blueberries, Water
Notes: The skin on my hands was better today; seems to be healing. I feel great! My knee that I had knee surgery on in September is no longer swollen and I don’t have major pain in it every time I walk and use it. No headache. My head feels clearer and I have a bit more energy today.
Day 5 was a success! So Happy! Today was the beginning of the new me! Clearer head, more energy, more balanced, better focus, no knee pain/swelling or limp….overall feeling better! Now let’s see what day 6 has to offer!
